Makungu Ndlovu

Ndlovu Makungu is a dedicated scholar who is currently working towards a BSc Hons in Computer Science at the University of Pretoria. Ndlovu completed a demanding undergraduate course in Mathematical Sciences majoring in Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Johannesburg, reflecting a strong commitment to theoretical as well as practical science throughout their academic career. His dream is to become a Data Analyst and he aims to use mathematics to derive insights from complex data sets.

Mr. Ndlovu’s interests are situated at the confluence of mathematics, computer science and emerging technologies where he believes that through utilizing data informed decision making can be achieved. He has always been intrigued by Natural Language Processing which involves breaking down human language into segments that machines can understand. This fascination reflects his desire to know more about AI because it is expected that artificial intelligence will shape most areas regarding technological advancements going forward. Ndlovu is excited about broadening his mathematical skills set alongside strengthening analytical abilities because he knows very well that these two things are key when it comes to working within fields such as data analysis or even artificial intelligence.
